Pathological Accommodation
In this episode, Katie and Diane talk about a trauma response called Pathological Accommodation. This happens when a person attempts to take care of other people's feelings to the detriment of themselves. This is typically done out of fear, and it separates one from their own valid and important thoughts, feelings and experiences.
